== ICPL status and format ==

The Pro DNA Open was registered under the International Classic Paintball League. The promoter's January announcement described the 2024 tournament as the second Pro DNA Open and advertised it as ten-player mechanical competition.[1][5]

Team Smoke's contemporary tournament account described the event as an ICPL minor, with professional and amateur teams competing in combined brackets.[4]

The official schedule labelled preliminary games “Mixed 10v10”. Teams played eight preliminary games across fields named Mounds, Woods and Hyperball. Subsequent rounds combined professional and amateur teams under the “Open 10v10” label, while final classification standings were published separately.[2][3]
