== Tournament involvement ==

CCM's early tournament participation was closely connected with the development and promotion of its pump-action markers.

During 2000, the company entered the Pan Am Circuit using customised pump markers against teams equipped primarily with semi-automatic equipment.

At the Seattle event, the team's performance against the Portland Naughty Dogs attracted contemporary coverage.[1]

The company's participation helped demonstrate the continued competitive use of pump markers during a period when mechanical semi-automatic and electronic markers were becoming dominant in tournament paintball.

CCM also sponsored events and supplied equipment as tournament prizes.

At the March 2003 Northwest Tournament Series, five CCM J2 markers were awarded to the novice division winners.[4]
