Editing Paintball Asia League Series (section)

== Historical significance ==

The Paintball Asia League Series contributed to the development of international tournament paintball in Asia during the 2000s and 2010s.

At a time when major professional tournament circuits were concentrated in North America and Europe, PALS provided an international competition platform based in Asia.

Its events encouraged cross-border participation, helped establish relationships between national paintball communities and attracted international teams and media to the region.

The development of World Cup Asia, particularly the Langkawi championships, demonstrated the ability of Asian tournament organisers to host large international paintball competitions.

PALS also helped connect domestic tournaments, regional competitions and international paintball organisations during an important period in the sport's development.
