Commercial park network
Giant HK was associated with Giant Sportz, the Southern California commercial paintball business connected with SC Village, Hollywood Sports Park and other recreational venues.

The organisation was operated by paintball entrepreneurs Dennis Bukowski and Giovanni D'Egidio.

Giant Sportz provided a commercial and community connection for the 2012 team.

Giovanni D'Egidio
Giovanni D'Egidio was identified as a managing partner of Giant Sportz in the March 2012 Giant HK announcement.[1]

He discussed the team's equipment sponsorship arrangements and its selection of Empire markers.

His involvement illustrates the relationship between commercial paintball park operators and competitive teams in Southern California.

The available source does not identify him as the team's sole founder or head coach.
