=== Operating system === Most CCM pump markers use a mechanically operated, closed-bolt stacked-tube system derived from the Autococker and Sniper platforms. Pulling the pump handle backwards moves the bolt and cocking mechanism to the rear, allowing another paintball to enter the breech. Returning the pump handle forwards closes the bolt. Pulling the trigger releases the hammer, which strikes the valve and allows compressed gas to propel the paintball through the barrel. The marker must then be pumped again before another shot can be fired.[10]
