== Relationship with Malaysian paintball organisations == === Tournament circuits === The 2010 initiative included people associated with both of Malaysia's principal domestic tournament circuits. Allan Phang and Paul WY Lam were associated with the [[Paintball Asia League Series]] and [[Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit]]. Wong Yoong Peow was identified with the [[Malaysian National Paintball League]].[1] The participation of these individuals demonstrates that both tournament communities were represented in the formation initiative. It does not establish that either league was owned, operated or absorbed by the federation. === State associations and clubs === State and regional associations formed an important part of the proposed structure. The pre-hearing list named representatives from Johor, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Sabah, Sarawak, Kedah, Labuan and Penang.[1] The provisional committee subsequently included representatives of additional local associations and paintball clubs. The surviving records do not establish which organisations later became formally constituted members under an adopted federation constitution. === Refereeing === Muhammad Muhsin, identified with M-PRO Paintball Club, was appointed assistant secretary general of the provisional committee.[1] He was also described in contemporary reporting as the MY-NPL Ultimate Judge.[2] His involvement establishes participation by a person associated with tournament officiating. It does not establish that the [[Malaysian Paintball Referee Organisation]] became a department of the federation.
