== Tournament format == World Cup Asia was organised as a multi-division international tournament. The competition structure evolved over time, reflecting changes in international paintball formats and the development of the Paintball Asia League Series. The championship featured divisions intended to accommodate teams of different competitive experience levels. Later editions included X-Ball formats, with teams competing in timed matches using inflatable tournament bunkers. The 2012 and 2013 events featured four principal competitive divisions and an additional Intercontinental Cup. [8][9] The 2015 championship included an Open X-Ball division and Division 1 X-Ball, alongside other competitions. [12]
