Editing Fulda Gap (section)

== Significance ==

Fulda Gap is distinguished from many other large-scale scenario paintball events by its Cold War theme and emphasis on military organisation.

Its recurring NATO and Warsaw Pact formations provide continuity between annual editions, while the use of armoured vehicles and complex battlefield objectives supports extended strategic gameplay.

The event's documented participation of more than 1,500 players and 16 tanks in 2019 places it among the larger American scenario paintball gatherings of its period.[1]
