== Playing career == === Early career and professional debut === Harmon began playing paintball in 2001, aged approximately 11. He developed his skills in Northern California, practising in Manteca with the amateur team Twisted Factory.[1][2] The Oakland Assassins, led by Bob Long, regularly practised at the same venue. Harmon was invited to try out for the professional team after Long observed him playing.[1] He joined the Assassins in 2003 at the age of 13. In a 2021 interview with Iconic Paintball, Harmon recalled making his professional debut at the Mardi Gras Open in Louisiana, where he competed in the National Xball League (NXL) format.[1] Harmon continued attending school while competing professionally, travelling to practices and tournaments with his father. During his early career, he trained alongside experienced players including Bob Long and Rich Telford.[1] === Professional teams === During the 2000s and early 2010s, Harmon played for several American professional organisations. A 2023 interview published by Paintball Nerd identified the following teams among his career affiliations:[2] * Oakland Assassins * Oakland Blast * Sacramento XSV * Aftermath * Tampa Bay Damage * Edmonton Impact * Naughty Dogs * San Diego Dynasty * Houston Heat The list covers different periods of his professional career and should not be interpreted as a chronological roster history. === San Diego Dynasty === Harmon joined San Diego Dynasty at the beginning of the 2013 season. In his 2021 interview with Iconic Paintball, Harmon described Dynasty as a team he had wanted to represent since childhood. He joined following a successful tryout and remained with the organisation for approximately eight years.[1] During his first season, Dynasty won multiple events and the 2013 series championship. Harmon subsequently participated in further championship campaigns with the team.[1] He was still representing Dynasty in 2020, when he appeared in an extended interview with Matty Marshall produced for the league's media platform.[5] === Expendables and the 2018 Prague Open === Harmon competed internationally with Expendables, a team registered in Feilding, New Zealand. Official PBLeagues records identify Harmon on the Expendables roster for the 2018 NXL Europe Prague Open, held from 25 to 27 May 2018 at Prague Airport Letňany in the Czech Republic.[6][7] The roster included: * Ivan Christison * Ryan Greenspan * Tyler Harmon * Thomas Hopkins * Matthew Kling * Marcello Margott * Yosh Rau * Blake Yarber Rusty Glaze was listed as team staff.[6] Expendables won the professional division, defeating Edmonton Impact 5-4 in the final on 27 May 2018.[6][8] The event documents Harmon's participation with the New Zealand-registered team, although it does not establish that he was a permanent member of its domestic roster. === Houston Heat === On 10 June 2021, the NXL announced that Harmon had left San Diego Dynasty to join Houston Heat for the remainder of the 2021 season.[9] He joined a roster that included Chad George, Ryan Moorhead and Konstantin Fedorov. Later that month, Heat won the 2021 NXL Mid-Atlantic Major in Royersford, Pennsylvania. The team defeated Edmonton Impact 5-3 in the professional final.[10] Contemporary event reporting identified Harmon's role behind Chad George on the snake side as an important part of Heat's performance.[10] Harmon continued representing Houston Heat through the 2024 NXL season.[4] === Return to Edmonton Impact === In November 2024, Harmon announced his move from Houston Heat to Edmonton Impact for the 2025 season. The transfer was discussed on episode 276 of Play The Game, published on 25 November 2024. The move formed part of a wider recruitment effort that also involved Marcello Margott, Alex "Mouse" Goldman and Raney Stanczak.[11] Harmon competed for Edmonton Impact throughout the 2025 NXL season and remained with the team in 2026.[4] === 2026 NXL season === Harmon competed with Edmonton Impact during the 2026 NXL professional season, including the Tampa Bay Open, Mid-Atlantic Open, Midwest Open and Lone Star Open.[4] At the NXL Midwest Open, held from 25 to 28 June 2026 in Ohio, Edmonton Impact won the professional division. Harmon was named event MVP, while teammate Nick Leival received the finals MVP award.[12][13] The achievement was discussed in episode 345 of Play The Game, released on 2 July 2026, featuring Harmon, Leival and Dalton Vanderbyl.[12]
