Editing Seven X (paintball film) (section)

== Production and content ==

''Seven X'' was produced by [[DerDer]], the American paintball video company associated with filmmaker [[Rob Astamendi]].

The film covers four XPSL tournament events from the 2004 season.

The XPSL had developed from the earlier Pan American Paintball Circuit. During 2004, the series held events in Las Vegas, San Jose, Los Angeles and Portland, with Las Vegas hosting both the opening and concluding events.[3]

The original DVD description confirms that ''Seven X'' includes footage from four XPSL events, although the precise selection of events has not been independently established.[1]

Rather than concentrating exclusively on leading teams, the film documents competition across different playing levels.

Its promotional description emphasised tournament highlights, aggressive moves and mistakes made during competition.[1]
