== Playing career == === Early career and Los Angeles Ironmen === Kemp began his professional career with the Los Angeles Ironmen. His subsequent teams included [[Sacramento XSV]] and Legacy before he returned to the Ironmen.[1] He remained associated with the Ironmen through much of the following period, but left during the 2012 season and played for [[Los Angeles Infamous]] at that year's PSP World Cup.[4] === San Antonio X-Factor === In January 2013, [[San Antonio X-Factor]] announced Kemp's addition to its roster. Contemporary coverage identified him as a reinforcement for the team's dorito side.[4] Kemp spent three seasons with X-Factor, from 2013 to 2015. In announcing his departure, he described the period as an important part of his development and praised his former teammates.[1] === Return to the Ironmen === On 11 December 2015, [[DYE Precision]] announced Kemp's return to the Ironmen for the 2016 season. The announcement described this as his third spell with the team and highlighted both his playing experience and his ability to support the squad's physical conditioning.[1] Kemp remained on the published Ironmen roster for 2017, under head coach [[Todd Martinez]]. His retirement from professional paintball was reported in November that year.[5][6] === San Diego Dynasty === Kemp subsequently returned to professional competition with [[San Diego Dynasty]]. Tournament records list him with the team during 2020, including its winning World Cup campaign.[3]
