2014 MXL Querétaro Open
The 2014 MXL Querétaro Open was a paintball event scheduled for 17–18 May 2014 at Evolution Paintball in Juriquilla, Querétaro, Mexico.[1] Its published tournament draw contained 23 teams across three divisions.[2]
Competition
[edit]Open was advertised as an X-ball competition. The other two divisions used race-to-two formats, one for five-player teams and one for three-player teams. Both were labelled Division 4 in the event record.[1]
| Division | Teams in published draw |
|---|---|
| Open | 5 |
| Division 4, five-player | 9 |
| Division 4, three-player | 9 |
Each division had a single preliminary bracket. Four teams were scheduled to advance from each of the two Division 4 brackets.[2]
Surviving results
[edit]The published placings list four teams in first place in each Division 4 competition:[3]
| Division | Teams listed in first place |
|---|---|
| Division 4, five-player | N-TEAM; renegades; SCORPION LEGACY; tj allstarz black |
| Division 4, three-player | SCORPION BLACK; SPARTANS PAINTBALL TEAM; tj allstarz jr; warriors |
The Open entries are listed alphabetically as black challengers, MS, playa, Tj All Stars and White Tigers Evolution. No points are shown, and the score archive contains no completed match scores. These records do not establish an Open winner or distinguish a single winner in either Division 4 competition.[3][4]
