In his history of the Peninsula Paintball Club, president Leigh Dixon identified X-Rated as one of four tournament teams that played out of the club, alongside [[Rat Pack (Australian Paintball Team)\|Rat Pak]], Loony Tunes and The Creed.[3]

In a club forum post dated 27 March 2003, Dixon listed XRated among the tournament teams represented within the club's membership. The post described the club's activities as mainly social games, with occasional interstate tournament entries and locally organised three-player competitions.[4]
