Red West was a Singaporean paintball team associated with Red Sevens. The team won the first two legs of the 2009 Singapore Paintball Novice Series and became the series' overall champions that year. [1][2][3]

History
Formation and early competition
Red West was formed to compete in the Singapore Paintball Novice Series. Its early players included Zach and Ryan, students at the Singapore American School who had previously played for Red Sevens in Malaysia. An April 2009 account reported that Red West had trained together twice before winning the opening leg of the series. [4]

Red West won the first leg of the 2009 series ahead of Contract Killers. A contemporary report named Zach, Ryan, Gerald and Vincent as its players. Gerald also won the event's individual Top Gun competition. [1]

2009 series championship
Red West won the second leg at Pasir Ris Park, finishing ahead of Five-O and Contract Killers. The team's recorded line-up was captain Ryan Stoll, Paul Poh, Mark Wong, Gerald Lee and Zachary Hagy. [2]

The team subsequently reached the semi-finals of the third leg at West Coast Park and secured the 2009 overall series title. [3]

An October 2009 account described Red West as Red Sevens' junior team. Its championship photograph identified Gerald, Paul, Chee Yong, Fairuz, Julya and Sofie, while also crediting Zach Hagy, Ryan Stoll and Mark for their participation during the season. [5]

World Cup Asia
Red West competed in Division 4 at the 2009 World Cup Asia. A contemporary photographic report identified the team among Singapore's participants. [6]
