It covered the second leg of the 2006 Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit (MPOC) and was the first DVD produced by the Villain Paintball video crew.[1][2]

Production
Villain Paintball traced the project to members of its crew filming paintball practices after watching a DVD recording of a local tournament. The initial group included Kherox, Kaymo, Caranthir and Shafril, also known as “Da Boss” of Team el-Bandito.[3]

Production of the MPOC video was documented during May 2006. A session at Paintball Sports Supplies involved Kherox, Caranthir and Da Boss compiling, reviewing and indexing footage, with Ibrahim of WK Army and Lil Jon also participating in the gathering.[4] Villain Paintball subsequently reported that more than 50 person-hours had been spent editing the DVD.[5]

Release and distribution
The title was announced as MPOC 2nd Leg “On Parole”. It was released during the Asia Cup and third leg of the MPOC at Bukit Jalil on 10–11 June 2006, with an introductory price of RM40.[2]

The initial release consisted of a limited number of copies. Villain Paintball reported shortly after the event that further copies could be produced and obtained through Paintball Sports Supplies or Xtion Paintball.[1] In July 2006, the group stated that the DVD remained available and could be delivered within Malaysia.[6]

Villain Paintball described the response to the initial release as encouraging, although no independent review, distribution record or sales figure has been identified.[1]

See also
* Villain Paintball
* Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit
* Paintball in Malaysia

References
# Villain Paintball – “On Parole – Good yah?”, 13 June 2006
# Villain Paintball – “MPOC 2nd Leg ‘On Parole’ DVD will be out”, 8 June 2006
# Villain Paintball – “How it started”, 10 May 2006
# Villain Paintball – “Weekend Production”, 13 May 2006
# Villain Paintball – “MPOC 2nd Leg DVD”, 7 June 2006
# Villain Paintball – “New Project”, 5 July 2006
