Kamikaze Knights was a New Zealand competitive paintball team based in Christchurch, Canterbury. The team competed in the New Zealand Paintball Players League (NZPPL) during 2014, finishing third at the 2014 NZPPL International Pacific Championship in Auckland.[1][2]

The team's recovered PBLeagues record also documents a fourth-place finish in Pro X-Ball at the August 2014 NZPPL tournament.[1]

History
2014 NZPPL competition
Kamikaze Knights' PBLeagues registration is dated 11 July 2014 and identifies Christchurch as its hometown.[1]

The team competed at NZPPL Race 2-4 Event 2, held on 30–31 August 2014 at Asylum Paintball in Kingseat, Auckland.

Six teams entered the Pro X-Ball division, with Kamikaze Knights finishing fourth behind ADHD, Trauma and The Wild Bunch.[3]

The team's recorded matches included victories against Trauma, Mischief Militia, The Wild Bunch and Low Gear. The Wild Bunch defeated Kamikaze Knights 4–1 in their final-stage match.[4]

International Pacific Championship
Kamikaze Knights returned to Auckland for the 2014 NZPPL International Pacific Championship, held at Asylum Paintball on 25–26 October.

The eight-team Division 1 X-Ball tournament included opponents from New Zealand, Australia and French Polynesia.[2]

During the preliminary stage, Kamikaze Knights recorded victories against CamoMeat, Mischief Militia and South East Cartel. Its fixture against Low Gear was recorded as a forfeit victory.[5]

The team subsequently faced Phoenix Tahiti in the third-place match on 26 October, winning 4–1.

Kamikaze Knights finished third overall, behind tournament champions Trauma and runners-up Legacy NZ.[2][5]
