New page

Femmes Fatale is an American women's tournament paintball team established in 1999. Associated with Tami Adamson and Todd Adamson, the team competed in national tournaments during the early 2000s and became one of the inaugural professional teams in the Women's National Xball League (WNXL) in 2022.[1][5]

Femmes Fatale won consecutive women's championships at the Ultimate Madness tournament in 2003 and 2004. The organisation subsequently returned to professional competition, winning the 2025 NXL Tampa Bay Open and finishing second in the 2025 WNXL season standings.[3][4][9]

History
Formation and early competition (1999-2002)
According to founding member Tami Adamson, Femmes Fatale was established in 1999 and made its tournament debut at the Mardi Gras Open.[1]

The organisation was among the early all-female teams competing in major American paintball tournaments.

At the 2001 Aruba Open, Femmes Fatale finished second in the Amateur B division, behind Aruba Madness II.[2]

The following year, Femmes Fatale competed in the women's division at Ultimate Madness in Huntington, West Virginia, finishing sixth.[3]

In 2002, Femmes Fatale became a fully sponsored DYE Precision team. Tami Adamson later identified the agreement as the first full DYE sponsorship of an all-female paintball team.[1]

The team competed in several tournament formats during its early history, including 10-man, 7-man, 5-man and 3-man competition.[1]

Ultimate Madness championships (2003-2004)
Femmes Fatale won the women's division at Ultimate Madness III, held in Huntington, West Virginia, from 4 to 6 April 2003.

The team finished the final round tied with Wicked Sistas on 125 points but secured first place through the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Lady T&A finished third and Fallen Angels fourth.[3]

Femmes Fatale successfully defended its championship at Ultimate Madness IV in April 2004.

The team finished ahead of Women of Worr, Southern Seduction and the Valkyries to claim its second consecutive women's title.

Contemporary WARPIG coverage identified Femmes Fatale as the tournament's repeat women's champions.[4]

Return to professional competition (2022)
Femmes Fatale joined the newly established Women's National Xball League for its inaugural professional season in 2022.

The organisation was based in Fort Myers, Florida, with a roster comprising players from North America, South America, Central America and the United Kingdom.

Todd Adamson was identified as the team's owner and head coach, while Tami Adamson remained involved as a player and organisational representative.[1]

The team renewed its sponsorship relationship with DYE Precision ahead of the 2022 season.

Femmes Fatale finished fourth at both the Sunshine State Major and Mid-Atlantic Major before taking third place at the NXL World Cup.

The team finished fourth overall in the inaugural WNXL professional season.[6]

Continued WNXL competition (2023-2026)
Femmes Fatale continued competing in the WNXL professional division.

In 2023, the team finished fifth overall in the season standings, with fourth-place finishes at both the Sunshine State Major and Windy City Major.[7]

The organisation improved to fourth overall in 2024.[8]

In March 2025, Femmes Fatale won the professional women's division at the NXL Tampa Bay Open.

The team defeated New Jersey High Rollers 5-1 in the championship final, securing its first WNXL event victory of the season.[9][10]

Femmes Fatale subsequently finished second at the 2025 Midwest Open and third at the World Cup.

These results secured second place in the 2025 WNXL season championship, behind The Heroines.[9]

The team remained active in 2026, finishing third at the Tampa Bay Open and second at the Midwest Open in the professional WNXL division.[11]
