David Caton is a New Zealand paintball player and field manager documented as a longstanding member of Saints and manager of the Auckland Commando One Paintball field in a contemporary profile preserved in February 1998.[1]

Paintball involvement
Saints
Caton's New Zealand Paintball profile identifies him as a longstanding Saints member. He reported approximately nine years of involvement in paintball at the time of the interview, having discovered the game through another person's workplace social event.[1]

The profile does not establish when he joined Saints or identify his squad.

Commando One
The same profile identifies Caton as manager of Commando One's Auckland field. A contemporary field directory also lists him alongside Rob Tapper as a Commando One contact.[1][2]

The directory describes the Auckland facility as an urban-style playing field with predominantly artificial cover and a screened spectator area.[2]

Equipment and views
Caton expressed a preference for pump-action markers, specifically the Piranha and Tippmann SL-68. He emphasised the game's social aspect and advocated closer cooperation between field owners and regular players.[1]
