The '''2016 MXL''' was the 2016 season of the [[Mexican Xball League]], comprising four events held between 5 March and 9 October 2016 in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City and Playa del Carmen.[1] Warriors Recoil, allstarz jr and Perros Galanes led Ultimate Champions, Premier Xball and Junior respectively in the published final season standings.[2]

|-

The dates follow the published league calendar.[1]

== Event winners ==
The following divisional winners appear in the published event placings.[3][4][5][6]

{| class="wikitable"
! Division !! Guadalajara !! Monterrey !! Mexico City !! World Cup Latinamerica
|-
| Ultimate Champions || RIOT GDL || OVERHEAD || Warriors Recoil || SCORPION LEGACY
|-
| Premier || Club de toby || allstarz jr || allstarz jr || Mexico City Titans
|-
| Junior || Perros Galanes || North side team silver || Perros Galanes || Goonies by Titans and Pancho's Squad
|}

The World Cup Junior placings list Goonies by Titans and Pancho's Squad jointly first, with Portal Crew BB and Revolvers jointly third.[6]

The event also listed a separate World Cup Latinamerica category with ten country-named entries. Its alphabetical list is not treated here as a verified finishing order; the published draw covers the three club divisions and the score archive contains no completed match scores.[6][7][8]

== Final season standings ==
The following tables reproduce all 58 entries in the published season standings. The World Cup Latinamerica column contains no points for any team, so the published totals comprise points from the first three rounds.[2]

Team names and separate entries are retained as listed. Some names associated with individual round results differ between the event records and season standings.[2][3][4]
