2013 NZPPL Super 5 Man Event 1 was a five-player paintball tournament held on 9–10 March 2013 at El Rancho Holiday Park in Waikanae, on New Zealand's Kāpiti Coast. It was the opening round of the 2013 New Zealand Paintball Players League (NZPPL) Super 5 Man Series.[1]

Thirteen teams competed across Cup and Plate classifications. X-Fighter$ won the Cup competition, followed by Tiger Blood and Wellington Vendetta. Low Gear won the Plate competition.[2]

The official results identify thirteen competing teams across the two classifications.[2]

Championship context
Event 1 formed part of the NZPPL's 2013 Super 5 Man Series.

The league subsequently held Event 2 on the Kāpiti Coast, with its official rankings recording a second consecutive victory for X-Fighter$ Fracture.[2]

The NZPPL standings published later in 2013 preserve the individual results for the first two events and a combined ranking table.

The March results represent the opening round of the season rather than the final championship classification.

Historical records
The original NZPPL website has been preserved by the Internet Archive.

Its Event 1 announcement confirms the tournament's dates, venue and scheduled programme.[1]

The league's archived rankings page preserves the final Cup and Plate placings, including all thirteen participating teams.[2]

Complete match-by-match scores and individual player rosters have not been recovered.
