The Toulouse tournament followed the Millennium Series rounds in Málaga and London. Contemporary local coverage identified the venue as Parc de Sesquières and announced participation from 30 nations, including South Africa, Germany, England, France, Iran, Israel, Russia and the United States.[1][2]

London Nexus and Philly Dogs reached the final, with Nexus winning the tournament. Budapest Bullets finished third and Moscow Caste fourth. Joy Stockholm, the championship leader before Toulouse, finished fifth.[2][3]

The result followed tenth place at Málaga and 13th at London for Nexus. Philly Dogs had also finished outside the top eight at both preceding rounds, placing 11th and 12th respectively.[2]

Joy Stockholm won the separate Intercontinental Cup held alongside the Millennium tournament. This victory was distinct from Joy's fifth-place finish in the CPL event.[3]

== Championship position ==

Budapest Bullets moved into the CPL championship lead after Toulouse. Third place gave the team 248 points, four ahead of Joy Stockholm on 244. Moscow Phoenix remained third with 184 points despite its preliminary-round elimination.[2]

Copenhagen Ducks and Chilli Peppers Riga each had 160 points, while Nexus's victory increased its total to 144. Philly Dogs reached 132 points.[2]
