New page

The 2005 NPPL Commander's Cup was the final tournament of the 2005 NPPL Super 7 season, held from 4–6 November at Bicentennial Park in Miami, Florida. San Diego Dynasty won both the professional tournament and the professional season championship.[1][2]

Venue and organisation
The event returned to Miami after the 2004 edition in San Diego, retaining its name in memory of Maurice Gibb. Despite disruption caused by Hurricane Wilma, organisers confirmed that the tournament could proceed as scheduled.[1]

Professional games were filmed for television coverage. The event also included a trade show and live music.[1]

Professional competition
The professional championship final used a best-of-five format. Dynasty defeated Sacramento XSV in three consecutive games to win the tournament.[1]

Portland Naughty Dogs secured third place against Stockholm Joy Division, winning their decisive fifth game 97–9.[1]
