'''2001 South Pacific Championships''' was a paintball tournament held on 14–15 April 2001 at Thunderball Paintball, Manor Park, in the Wellington region of New Zealand. [[Tag n' Release]] won the tournament, while [[Wellington Phoenix (paintball team)|Phoenix]] finished fourth.[1][2][3]

The event was advertised as open five-player centre-flag competition under Australian Paintball Players League rules. The announced entry fee was NZ$350 per team, with John Clement as the tournament contact.[1]

Phoenix's contemporary report congratulated Tag n' Release on winning the tournament. The team's separate history page records its own fourth-place finish.[2][3]
